Vaccine Clinic for Students Ages 16 and Older

Dear Rocky Hill Parents and Guardians,


We are pleased to inform you that Rocky Hill children ages 16 and older are invited to participate in a COVID-19 student vaccine clinic on Saturday, April 24, 2021. Please note that children ages 16 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in order for consent to be provided at the time of the appointment. The vaccine clinic will be held at the Hartford Healthcare facility, 1290 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield, in conjunction with the Wethersfield Public Schools. The clinic hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The vaccine being offered is the Pfizer double-dose administration. At the time of your child’s initial appointment, he or she will be automatically scheduled for the second dose three weeks later.  Children participating in the clinic will need to provide valid identification, e.g., driver’s license, learner’s permit, school ID, birth certificate. 


 To schedule a vaccine appointment for your eligible child, please follow these instructions:


a) You will need an active Hartford HealthCare MyChart account. Please use the following link to access MyChart:

b) If you do not have a MyChart account, you can sign up online via Hartford HealthCare’s MyChart. Instructions for activation:


Once logged into MyChart:

Click “Make an Appointment” and select COVID Vaccine

  1. Answer the questions displayed on the screen.  One of the questions will be: “Have you been provided with an event ID for vaccination at a specific clinic site?” Please respond “Yes” to this question. Continue entering the questions as displayed.

  2. Please select the organization or school that provided you with an event code. If organization is not listed, please select “Other”.

  3. Enter the Event ID. The Event ID for this vaccination clinic is Wethersfield$chools (caps sensitive).


We are pleased that our state is now moving forward with the vaccination program for young adults, ages 16 and older, and we encourage you to have your eligible child(ren) vaccinated. Please contact the Rocky Hill Board of Education (860-258-7701) office if you have any questions regarding the student vaccine clinic scheduled for Saturday, April 24.
